Decoder Board Error

I installed the decoder board on my North American Epson P800. This functioned properly with the Piezo Pro inkset that I installed for about 10 prints. Now, it is occasionally giving me an error that the light cyan cartridge cannot be recognized. I can sometimes make this error go away by restarting the printer or the decoder board, but sometimes not. At this point, it seems to be happening more and more.
I noticed that there were a couple of other threads about this topic:

And that the issue may be a bad decoder board??
Let me know what you think.
Thanks.

I’ve had my P800 set up with PiezoPro since 2020 but I installed the “chipless solution” software instead of the decoder board and haven’t had any issues, so I can’t make any suggestions as to how to fix it. Since you were able to initially make some prints then my only guess is that either the chip on the cart is bad or the cart isn’t seated correctly.
As far as the MK being darker is probably because you have the PK (for glossy media) selected. If you were using MK (for Matte media) the PK would be blacked out. If you run a nozzle check, you’ll see what I mean.
