This came before I started at IJM but has zero replies so I’m replying to it for anyone else who happens upon the question/thread.
Watch out for ink carts that have bad exit valves. This is the most important thing to look for. Make sure the exit valve rubber is properly aligned with the outlet hole.
I am expecting delivery of a WP-4530 soon. I plan to install and use the Epson inks then switch to your IJM DB. Because IJM doesn’t supply carts anymore for this printer, I have a couple of questions.
I know you would uncomfortable recommending a source of carts from a competitor, so can you give me an idea of what to watt out for to get a quality cart?
I’ve seen some descriptions of how to remove Epson ink bags to refill them and reset the chips. Is this feasible in any way, or am I truly better off just finding a quality refillable cart?
