What do you do with your 9900 or P-9000 when you travel for an extended period?

We all know these printers need steady work, but that is not always possible. What do you do if you’re going to travel and your printer is going to sit idle for weeks even months?

Does the auto nozzle check work and keep your heads safe even if the printer has not been active for some time?

Thanks.

On the P9000 you can leave it on and let it auto-nozzle check/clean periodically. This is the best way to do it. The Epson user manual shows you how to do this.

The 9900 should be bagged up and placed in a humid environment ideally. A few weeks/months is fine. If longer I would put it in flush for longer-term storage.
