After refilling all the cartridges and turning on the printer, epson displayed a message saying that "It cannot recognize the cyan cartridge.
This is the same problem that happened on a previous occasion when you had to send me a new chip to place into another color cartridge.

Hi Victor~

I’m sorry to hear you’re experiencing a problem with your printer recognizing the cyan position refill cartridge.

After reviewing your order history, I see you purchased the set of R3000 refill carts in December 2012, so the carts, chips and chip batteries are over eight months old. Due to the limited life of the batteries, I believe you are likely dealing with a dead chip battery, which is effecting the printer’s ability to read this cartridge chip. We have information regarding the refill cartridge chips that use batteries in the back for reset/read, here: http://www.inkjetmall.com/wordpress/product-use/r3000-cartridge-batteries/, and new chips (with fresh batteries) can be found here: http://shopping.netsuite.com/s.nl/c.362672/sc.18/category.84880/.f

I hope this helps, please let me know if you have further questions or there’s anything else I can help you with.
best regards~ Dana
