Using a 3880 with jammed K for P2

Actually, I do think this is viable as long as you never switch (even by accident).

I have a colour 3880 that has just encountered the ink switch problem. Is this a candidate for P2? The PK cart drains so I would have one cart in MK and the empty PK cart. Before I go down this path, I would like to know if these situations are normally stable, or if there is more to come.

That would preclude using an initial fill to get the PZ ink, in the lines, would it not? Would I run a power clean instead?

Just run power cleans, yes.
