Use K2 inks in R3000?

I just retired my Epson Stylus pro 4000, which used the K2 ink, and bought an R3000 and the refillable cartridges . I have several bottles of the K2 ink left. Can I refill the carts in the R3000 with the K2 ink?
If so are there any color issues?

What are the expiration dates on your K2 bottles? If the ink isn’t too old, and it’s been stored in proper conditions, then I think it would probably be fine for you to use K2 ink in your R3000- except the Light Black, which is different in density, so you should use K3 LK.
