Solved: Connecting Waste Ink Bottle on R3000

I’m checking to see that I have the correct waste ink lines to connect the waste ink bottle to for an R3000 printer.

Here is a photo from page 30 of the manual. I assume I can remove the clamps at the white plastic part at the end of the grey tubes and hook on there. Am I understanding this correctly?

Yes, the metal wire pinch clamps on the two gray tubes next to the white plastic holder is where to disconnect the waste ink tubes and connect the new tubes to attach the external waste ink bottle. Simply pinch the two ends of the wire clamp to open it, and slide it off the connection to slide the smaller/inner tube out of the bigger gray tube.
