I have a P400 that I use for making Piezo digital negatives. I’d like to be able to make the occasional color print, but definitely not on the same printer! So I’m thinking of buying a refurbished P400 and using it with Cone Color inks. That way, I can make double use of my P400 chip resetter and other small desktop printer maintenance equipment . Is there anything wrong with this plan? Can you verify that Cone Color ink is available for the P400? Thanks.
The ink will be more archival and more dark (for matte printing) than the stock epson inks. But you will need to get a custom ICC profile made. We do not stock those by default.
