… after several attempts. It the new type (batteryless).

Any thoughts on what to try?

I’ve taken out the cart, reinstalled the cart, turned the printer off and on, tried opening and closing the cart door (seems to work for the Y cart) all to no joy!

Battery-less cart. Someone must have run into this before. Any advice would be most appreciated.

I think your cartridge chip had a short circuit.
