I just got my new computer up and running. PS is lightning fast now, thanks to an SSD.

I just made my first print using QTR for K3 printing. I printed a 4x6, but the actual image was 3.5x4, centered on the 4x6. QTR settings were Sheet feed, 2880 dpi, bi-directional. I’ve never seen my R3000 vibrate so much during a print job. I don’t think it was the head, but rather, the paper feed. Anyone notice this before?

I switched QTR to print unidirectional and there was no vibration. Yesterday I was printing a draft 4x6 so I used bidirectional. I guess the printer had to advance the paper more quickly. It sure shook the printer around, though. I think I’ll stick to unidirectional for the really small sizes, even for drafts.
