when printing from cs6 with a mac 10.8- select k7 printer,ps manages color,wide gamut rgb,relative colorimetric,black pt. on. in print settings-qtrrip,curve 1 paper profile,2880dpi,unidirectional and print. is this the correct procedure?

thanks for the info.used the qtr print tool to make a print. but the print is stop to stop and a half darker then what is seen on monitor. any idea why?
