I have a new R3000 printer and refillable cartridges (non battery type). I have refilled the LLK cartridge several times without problems but now it’s not recognised. I have tried an Epson LLK to check the connections and that’s fine but when I replace it with the LLK refillable I get the same refusal. Have you any other suggestions I might try.
It sounds like you have diagnosed the problem as a faulty chip, if the Epson cartridge works, that indicates that the chip read sensor is functioning. I have put in a sales order for a replacement LLK chip for your cart and you should be seeing it within 7-10 days, let us know if it doesn’t take care of the problem. Thanks-Kelly
