Hi there,
I am preparing to change the dampers of the 9900, which has been experiencing ink-starvation banding for quite some time.
After changing the dampers, I suppose we should perform some kind of cleaning to push the ink through the new dampers, right?
-
Which kind of cleaning and how many should I perform?
-
How much ink should I have on the different carts to do this, at a mininum?
-
Would you recommend using Piezoflush instead of the piezo inks that are right now installed to perform this? I do not intend to use this machine much in the future (I am just converting a 7880), so I am just trying to make a last-time attempt to see if I can save it before I dump it, so I wonder whether with Piezoflush I might be able to see whether the problem is solved (no banding when printing), and then leave it there inside for long term storage.
Thanks and regards,
Rafael
