I am installing the Neural K7 ink set for both Matte and Glossy printing on an Epson 3800. The instructions recommend 3 power cleaning cycles directly after installation. I will have to do 3 cycles for when the printer is set for photo black, PK, and 3 for when it is set to matte black, MK. This means all the colors other than the MK and PK positions will receive 6 power cleaning cycles. Is this correct? If so, are there any alternative methods to cleaning and to conserve a bit of ink?
