P800 decoder board limit of 30 resets. what exactly determines a reset?

you state that the p800 decoder board is limited to 30 cartridge resets. Carts need to be removed regularly in order to shake up the pigments does this represent a reset each time you reinstall the cart? Thank you

The carts can be pulled and replaced. This does not require a reset. When a cart reads empty you top off all the carts and hit the reset button.

Thank you for your reply. Does it follow then that you can pull individual carts any time prior to their being completely emptied for a visual inspection, then top up them up and replace without a reset?
