P600 VM Cart not recognized in the middle of a print

Relatively new user - New P600, New Carts, P2 Selenium Inks

After printing about 50 prints with no issues, the printer in the middle of printing will stop and will kick out an error message: Unrecognized Cartridge. Now it is the VM cart but it has happened today with the Cyan cart also. Sometimes the error message gives me the option of proceeding with the non-Epson ink and other times I have to shut down as I have no other option to continue.

Suggestions appreciated.

When this happens the chip has auto-reset. Check the cartridge level and top-off if low, then put back in the printer and you will see it reset to full.
