Only have enough ink to fill cart 3/4 full

On my 3800 . I am filling a brand new cart. Unfortunately I only have an enough ink to fill 3/4 cart. Can I still use carts before new ink arrives? Thanks

Yes, this is fine- just be sure to prime the exit channel with ink before installing the cart into your printer, and visually track the ink level to avoid running the cart empty.
