Microbanding on Epson printers

HI Dana:

Will the microbanding noticed on the 2800 with margins less than an inch obtain with all models of Epson --80 printers as well as the 3000? That is, with other printers can one leave smaller margins?

I believe this is the same with all desktop printer models, including the R3000, but can’t confirm that at the moment because our R3000 needs to be put back together before I can do any test prints.
I know I can print on our 9800 and 7880/9880s’ with less than 1" margin and not have any quality issues.
