MAC OS 10.8.3 new update problem affecting Epson 7890

I recently had a problem with my Epson 7890 not printing roll paper (prints were extremely blurry/smeared) but printing sheet paper OK. Contacted Epson support and was told that this was a known problem with Apple OS 10.8.3 update and suggested that I uninstall all Epson drivers and reinstall again. I can attach a scan of the steps suggested but it is in tiff format. Anyway the steps suggested worked fine and I am now able to print all media formats.
