Leaking Cartridge

I’m using an Epson 1430 with carbon inks. The yellow cart leaks ink on whatever I set it on quite a bit when I refill it, but the prints are coming out fine. I’m wondering if it leaks while printing, just not onto the paper. I have had to refill this cart more often than the others. I’m also thinking I should get a replacement.
