Issue with Epson SC P700/hpw to replace print head?

I have an Epson SC P700. It has ink absorbing on the sponge along the print path, near where the print head resides when not printing. My initial thought is that the print head is leaking. Is there some other explanation?
(I do not print borderless, so that is not the issue.)

If it is the print head, is that difficult to replace? And what is the part number of a replacement head?
