Is a daily nozzle check enough?

Is it adequate to do a daily nozzle check print (in my case a R2000/OEM and 3880/K7) to keep the printers in good shape? I generally get perfect nozzle checks.

I wonder if I should instead/also be printing a small reference image to keep the heads/nozzles/inks happy. I don’t have production prints to run every day (but hope to!).

Generally Piezography just doesn’t clog.

But it’s always good to run a print every few days to keep things exercised. In doing so, run a nozzle check too. Doesn’t have to happen every day though. Every few days is fine.

Best,
Walker
