Installing Alternate Driver

Walker,
I am not seeing this window that you’ve detailed below, on my MAC— have tried -but cannot seem to find it at all.
I will try to find out by calling Epson on Monday: hopefully they will tell how switch to 9890 driver so I don’t have to depend on the non-functioning green…?
…Will they be helpful in this effort ?

Any further direction I need to know before I can get to this window will be appreciated and is necessary.

I simply wish the [9900] printer be able to work well w color!

When adding the printer use “select software” and choose the 9890 driver.

  1. Install the 9890 driver from Epson.
  2. Connect your printer via USB.
  3. Open system preferences>Printers&Scanners.
  4. Click the + icon (bottom left)
  5. Find the 9900 USB printer and click it once.
  6. At the bottom you will see the “Use” menu. Click this menu and go to “Select Software”
  7. In this window search/choose the 9890 driver.
  8. Click add.

There you go.
