Installation problems with 3880 and Piezography2 Digital Negative and Print System

I’m finally getting around to installing my Piezography2 Digital Negative and Print System and am having issues with chip recognition.
I ran a flush with no issues, but when I converted to the inks the printer did not recognize the new batch of cartridges. I tried the suggested troubleshooting procedures but nothing is working.

Some specifics: I’m using the same “original chips” from my OEM carts.
I have a set of two refillable cartridges (one for cleaner and one for ink)

Thoughts?

Try using the control chips from the cleaner cartridges. There may be 1 or 2 control chips that are not reading properly on the new set.
