Ink cart for P5000

When can I expect to see ink cart solution for P5000?
Is it possible to use 3rd vendor chip if I update my p5000 to Asian firmware version?

So far nobody has been able to manufacture a stable chip for this model. So until that happens, there is no progress on this yet.
