I1profiler 3.1.1?

I have an old i1pro v1. I am trying to find a link to i1profiler v3.1.1 which seems to have been removed from the x-rite downloads page. Is it available anywhere?

I believe 3.1.1 was the last version that supported the i1pro v1.

Not sure if this is relevant, but check this site. There is a download link for 3.1.1. I didn’t try it as I didn’t want to inadvertently mess up my installation. https://i1profiler.software.informer.com/download/. I don’t know this site and would definitely run it through a virus checker first. Good luck.

It looks like this is for an older version 1.7.1 which installs fine on Windows 10. But unfortunately it doesn’t allow the use of the .pwxf files to load the workflows for Piezo Pro linearization. It wants txt or xml files.

UPDATE.

For those who are interested this version works with the i1pro v1 (I have only tried the windows version under windows 10) but you have to set up your own workflow consisting of inputting how many rows and columns are on the chart. You can save your workflow.

I have done this for the 21 and 31 patch charts in the i1profiler folder. I do not know how to set it up to use the bigger charts which average the values of several patches as in the video tutorial. You also have to manually edit the extra white patches out of the CGATS file but this is quite easy.

You can then save the CGATS file with the lab values and run the linearisation routines in the Excel workflow of Piezo Pro toolkit.

As an aside, would it be worth upgrading the i1pro V1 to a used V2 model?

I am reluctant to spend the £1700 on a new i1pro V3.
