I put the wrong ConeColor Pro Ink into a cartridge

I hunted around and could not find this question…

I made a newbie mistake and even though I “measured twice and cut once” I still managed to put the wrong ConeColor Pro ink color into a refill cartridge for my Epson R2400.

Can I clean the cartridge and if so how?

The usual response to this question is no, you can’t. Use a fresh one.

Sometimes people are told that you can use distilled water to flush it out gently, but it’s discouraged. I’ve done it a couple of times (for other reasons) and it’s not easy and the results are variable.
