I just got logged out trying to post a new topic and lost a huge block of text

I just spent 45 writing a report on a continuing saga with Epson and when I went to post it was logged out. I could not get back to the text and lost it all.

I’m frustrated, would have liked some feedback and can’t take the time now to re-do the post.

There is some issue with this forum, obviously.

Next time I will compose my posts elsewhere and copy them here, at least having a backup if it logs me out.

I thought that this forum, powered by vBulletin, had auto-save. But I’m not sure how that works with a new thread.

I just increased the Session Timeout from 30 minutes to one hour 15.

The autosave feature works by going back to the original posting and clicking reply - your autosaved text should return.
