What’s the best way to flush the refillable cartridges for Epson 3800? I’m switching from pigment based inks to dye based inks. I know to use distilled water but what is the best method?
We generally don’t recommend trying to clean out carts to use with a different ink, but if you’re going from one color ink to another, then it should be ok.
To do this, you should rinse out the carts as well as possible using distilled water, then drain/dry as well as possible (which is very difficult) before refilling with the new ink.
We do NOT recommend reusing carts if switching from color to Piezography, or vice versa.
