How to flash firmware on 9900?

Hi all,

I’m wondering if there is a way to flash the firmware on a 9900? The only comment I’ve found with an online search is that it can only be done by a repair shop and is not available online as it is “too risky”.

I’m willing to give it a go as a last effort to resuscitate a 9900 with a weird issue of a channel’s nozzles printing in reverse order. I’ve been told it could be corrupt firmware, but wondering if there’s a way of re-flashing it.

Any knowledge/experience of this, @IJM_TechSupport?

The epson factory software is available here: EpsonWideFormat@groups.io | Home

I think it should allow you to reinstall the firmware downloaded from Epson.
