How to bipass Green and Orange channel's on my 7900

I teach at a local college and the previous instructor would not allow students to use the Epson 7900 for fear of breaking it. This caused the head to permanently clog on the green and orange. The school had an Epson tech look and was told that it is not fixable and not worth replacing the head due to costs. The print test comes out completely blank on the green and orange. All others print fine. I was told that there is a way to bypass the green and orange? Possibly creating a new ICC profile? Not sure how to do this other than using the Spyder tool that scans the print and writes ICC profiles. Is it worth purchacing this tool or is there an easier way to bypass the two dead colors?
