What is the effect of using gloss optimizer on Matte paper?

It makes it slightly more neutral/bluer and brings the dmax darker just slightly. it’s a very nice effect on some papers.

It does not gloss the paper however.

I am thinking of using it with Special Edition inks and Canson paper (rag photographic) to cool it off. It is a bit warm…Will give it a try…
