Full ink levels not registered by printer

I topped up my yellow cart only when the printer display said it needed replacing. I put it back in expecting the ink level to read full, but it hasn’t changed. Switching the printer off and on again has not made any difference. I’m using the newer chips and with other carts the ink level display has changed after filling.

Any ideas?

Have you tried removing + reinstalling the yellow cartridge, and/or turning the printer off then back on?
What is the yellow cartridge ink level reading in the status monitor?
Have you ever refilled + reset this cartridge successfully in the past, or is this the first time for this cart/chip?
