Flattening prints

Using pro ink on 3880. Printed a 17x22 image that has a LOT of dark ink on JC 5 paper. First I’ve noticed this but even after 2 days the print is a little wavy (looking from the side). Guessing it’s from the quantity of ink being laid down, but IDK. I don’t use heat to mount (like a silver print), so wondering what is the approved method for flattening a print dried for a few days. Guessing a clean mat board with some weight, but wanted to check first… Thanks! Don

If you have access to a heat press you can flatten there. Otherwise try an iron (not too hot) and clean dry two ply archival mat board.

I suggest interleaving the print and then placing 8 or 16 ply matt-board on top + magazines.
