European SC-P800 unlocked?

Does anyone know if the SC-P800 printer sold in Europe is locked for refillable carts? Can I use the 3880 refill carts / chip resetter or does it require the IJM P800 decoder board?

Dear Michael,

Chips can be reset for the EU P800 printers. These supplies are sold in the EU. However, you can also make your P800 chipless which is much more ideal IMO. That way you are checking you ink levels, keeping your carts topped off and agitated etc.

no, just the P800s and smaller.

The x880s allow for chips to be reset (OEM or Non-OEM)
