Epson R3000 Fireware Update

Should I download R3000 firmware updates while using your carts? I believe you had warning about their updates.

Sorry I know this is an ole subject but cannot find your earlier references.

YOU SHOULD NEVER ACCEPT AN UPGRADE THAT EPSON PUSHES TO YOU. (one that you did not seek yourself)

But, downloading one is NOT without its risks. Is there some specific reason why you think you need to upgrade your firmware?

The RISK is having your printer not accept non-Epson brand ink products.

I am migrating to a new iMac-Pro and wish to continue to print with the R3000.

download just the Epson driver (not the Combo software).
