Epson Pro 3800 Adjustment/Service program cannot find printer

I normally use a mac for my printing. I am trying to set up a new set of PiezoPro cartridges. I downloaded the Ajustment/service program from 2manuals.com. I connected the printer to a usb port on my Windows laptop. I am unable to figure out how to install the printer, but I thought that the utility might recognize it. Alas, I get “There is no printer that can be used.”

Does the printer need to be installed as a Windows printer for this utility to work?

You need to install the printer driver and add the printer to your printers list then the application will work.

It is in the manual that comes with the app.

Thank you, Walker. Installation of the printer on Windows 10 turned out to be a non-trivial exercise. I got 'er done, though.
