Epson p8000 head on a 9890

Somewhere I saw Walker mention he successfully replaced the head on a 7890 with a p6000 head. Can the same be done on a 9890 with a p8000 head ? On the compass micro website it looks like they all use the same head (part number F191152). Does anyone know how this latest one differs with previous part numbers F191121 and F191151 ?

P6000 and P8000 are the same head which is not remarkably different than the 7890 / 9890 head! We have even replaced our 9900 heads with P9000 heads…

OK thats great to know! By chance is possible to out a p9000 head in a 9890 and have two more spare channels?
