EPSON Official Waste Ink Reset Utility?

I recently stumbled across an Epson page about waste ink tanks. They seem to be offering a free reset code for many desktop sized printers. http://www.epson.com/cgi-bin/Storesupport/InkPadsForm.jsp
Does anyone have familiarity with this service? Does it work only once, or could it be used multiple times? I’m inclined to think it would be only once per serial number, since the literature implies that the “average” user wouldn’t have to do this more than once before something else wears out (motors, belts,…).

Either way, it would save some money instead of buying the full Service program or a WIC key.

Interesting… I’ll have to give this a try when I have a moment, and am curious if anyone has experience with this yet?

I am curious about this as well, I don’t have anything to test this on right now, has anyone out there tried this with success?
