Epson 9600 starts printing Exclamation and Questions marks after print is complete

Epson 9600 starts printing Exclamation and Questions marks after print is complete. If anyone knows how to resolve this please let me know. I have cleared all print queues and reset the printer. I did disable the chip readers, could this have something to do with the problem. Please help.

This is totally stumping us here at InkjetMall. On face value it indicates bad data being sent to the printer either by the driver or originating within the printer firmware. I would re-enable the chip sensors to begin with. But anything else new? Did you install a new printer driver or upgrade your operating system or use a longer printer cable? Anything else happen between when it did not do this and when it began doing this besides turning off the chip sensors?
