Hi Friends,

I’m having difficulty getting my 7900 to execute an init fill. I’ve followed the sequence of entering serviceman mode, then cleaning -> init fill. When I press OK for init fill it flashes Charging for a split sec showing a progress bar (empty) and then immediately reverts back to the Cleaning part of the menu. Nothing actually runs.

I’m attempting to clean the Y/LLK channel.

Any ideas?

Hmmmm… have you turned it on normally first to accept the carts, then turn off and turn back on in Serviceman Mode to run the initial fill cycle? Are any of your cartridge ink levels too low, or your waste ink tank too full to preform the initial fill?
