Epson 7800 prints test print and nothing else

Why is my Epson 7800 printing a test print and nothing else? If I go to print an image file it just prints a checker board test print? I’d love any advise to get this printer up an running. Thanks

*update- Once it has a good test pattern print, then it will print my image file. It’s like it is programmed to do a test print on start up every time. I would love help fixing this problem.

Mystery solved. I found the setting in the printer to stop auto test before each print. Hooray
