Epson 7800 parts, air in lines Etc

Hi, new here…

I have an Epson 7800…it’s been an amazing, trouble free printer but now running into a few issues…

A month ago i was printing happily and then the printer started some isolated clogging…

replaced maintenance tank and did a power cleaning and suddenly i have air in the lines and not getting much of anything in terms ink on paper…

Can anyone offer some advice?

in case i need parts, do any of you have resources for parts for older Espons like the 7800?

I see a ton of parts on Ebay, most of which are in China…

wiper blades
capping station
flushing box
possibly the pump for the capping station etc…

Any other advice on this printer would be great…what the problem might be…etc…

I’d like to keep it because it still serves me but i don’t want to start throwing money at it in a crazy way…

thanks!

Pete

Where is the air in your lines? Closer to the cartridge end or the print-head end? How old are you carts?

compassmicro.com has a dwindling supply of parts for this printer . . . (most of the 9880 parts are actually the same as the 9800 parts so it’s useful to look there too).

best,
