Epson 7600. Paper sensor not working

Hi all,

Anyone know where the paper sensor is and how best to clean it on a 7600. It Recently started misfeeding and painting both roll and sheet paper.

It is on the head assembly itself. Probanly just needs a cleaning. Look for ink on the head carriage unit (the whole thing that moves back and forth) and clean.

The other one is to the right of the printer in the paper feed slot. Take the top cover off and you’ll see it

i need to remove the head unit to do that?
