Epson 4900 Refillable Cartridge Problem

I just received a new flush kit for Epson 4900’s and I’ve run into a problem with one of the refillable cartridges. I’ve prepared and installed several of the cartridges per the instructions with no problems. When I install the LK cartridge, all of the cartridges on that side for the printer pop up with the x in a red circle error. When I switch the refillable cartridge out for the Epson LK cartridge, everything goes back to normal. Could it be that I have a bad chip?

It sounds like you may have a bad LK chip, or possibly dead battery- I will have a new LK chip sent to you.
Please follow the procedure for replacing the chip, located in your cartridge instructions, and let me know if you have questions or there’s anything else I can help you with.
