Epson 4900 Ink Cartridge Error

We are using the Refillable Cart Set for Epson 4900. This morning it threw an error saying to replace in cartridge 4. IMG_4046

This is what happens when it resets. Pull it out and put it back in and it should work.

This occasionally happens to me on my 4900. I used to pull the cartridge and reinsert, but now I simply open the cartridge door, close it, and the printer is “good to go”!

Generally, this means the ink is low so you don’t want to forget about it after it has reset to full. It’s important to visually check your ink levels often. These printers don’t like getting air in their lines.
