Epson 3880 capping station

Hi

Hope you can help
But i was cleaning the plate on the capping station as i have done many times before, and the plate (with the spring underneath) went loose and is not sitting correctly now.
I contacted Epson repair center here in Iceland and they want to change out the whole capping station, but my feeling is that somehow just popped out and need to be resit in the original position again.

Have someone experienced this?
