Do I need the Epson driver?

Hello,

I am setting up my 3800 K7 printer at a new location running MAC. I have installed QTR with print tool. Do I need to download and install the Epson 3800 driver ?

I might be wrong, but I think you do need the Epson driver in order to access the Epson Printer Utility for normal cleaning cycles, etc. Without it you can only do Power Cleans from the panel. You don’t need it for printing though. :slight_smile:

Right, I hadn’t thought about that, power cleans are expensive.
