Discard original Epson brand 3880 carts?

Any reason to keep these? I successfully changed over all 9 to inkjet mall aftermarkets.

It’s important to keep the originals for fit tests later on or if you need to sell the printer with OEM carts attached. I recommend hanging on to them. Tape the outlets, place is dark cool place.

Thank you. Tape outlets to keep remaining ink liquid? Fit test? How would they function since the chips have been cut loose?

The ink outlets need to be taped over so they don’t dry out.
