Chip resetter for maintenance tank 4900?

short question: will the chip resetter for the maintenance tank of the 7900/9900 work on a 4900 as well, is it possible to reset this chip at all?

It won’t. The 49xx main tank chip resetter is a rare item but available on inter webs. We felt it was not as reliable as it should be so did not want to subject ourselves to constant RMAs on it. But it works just buyer beware.
